Ultrasonic Inspection and Leak Detection SystemThis is a handheld, non-destructive inspection system, which utilizes ultrasonic technology for predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and quality control.The Receiver, the primary component in the system, detects and converts ultrasound into easily recognizable sounds within the human range of hearing and supplies output to a headset, as well as to an analog meter.
It can also be used to detect and locate compressed gas leaks of any type. Ultrasound is created by turbulent flow gas escaping through an orifice from a high-pressure system to a low-pressure system. Once a leak is detected by the receiver, the sound is converted to the human audible range and output to a headset.
