The system allows the technician to capture vibration data in the field and email it to an analyst for immediate help via phone and email. Its software collects, displays and stores waveforms and vibration FFT spectra. The system provides overall vibration alerts and cursor-display tools. Direct zoom display allow the user to select an area of interest on the screen with the unit’s stylus or a finger, and zoom up to 64 times. Data can be exported to a desktop PC via Palm technology, SD card, or by e-mail from the smartphone.
